The end of
the year 2012 marks some of the best achievements in the history of EME
College. Highly successful international level conferences like ICRAI and
Composite show, grant of a handsome amount of funding by international
universities, accreditation of senior, junior and sophomore batches by Pakistan
Engineering Council at the same visit and what not!
But, the most exciting and stirring of all the happenings is something that wasn't even in the wildest of dreams of the Emenents… The 3D projector!

At the start
of the year, me and my friends had a chance of visiting our auditorium for
arrangements of an event. While standing on stage, one of the college's staff
came to us and asked us to move away from the wall at the back of the stage
saying "Commandant sahab ka order hai, deewaar ko hath nahi lagana..
yahan 3D projector screen lagni hai…" We joked the whole day about the
incident. But later on this turned out to be a mind boggling reality and EME
College now owns a 3D projector! And what is more, EME is the only educational
institute in Pakistan having an on-campus 3D Projector.
According to
Maj General Obaid Bin Zakria, Commandant College of E&ME, college
authorities will arrange movie nights for students and faculty members on
weekends. With the burden of laborious projects and assignments and difficult
exams on the students, these 3D movie nights are really going to lighten the
academic pressure on their minds.
